Greenland Storm Paddles

Greenland Storm Paddles are a great choice for paddling in inclement weather and for kayak rolling and sculling aficionados. Plus, they are fun to paddle with and add unique distinction to your kayak outfitting style! Typically, Storm paddles are very similar to full size Greenland paddles in blade length and width but the loom is much shorter - usually only two hands wide.

Primarily used with the Slide Stroke, paddling in inclement weather with a Storm paddle helps reduce wind resistance as much of the paddle is in the water while the shorter length exposes less to the wind. In fair weather, they are a great practice paddle when exploring the art of sliding strokes and Greenland rolling techniques.
